For many soldiers economic conscription is the order of the day.
Many do not know that they are fighting for imperialists, indeed, if they swallow the propoganda, they are fighting for humanity.
They get sent to fight bleed and die for te rich man, lose their humanity killing "Ragheads" i believe is the term prince harry use.
Then, when the poor bastard gets his legs blown off, he is given 16 thousand to pay for hi care and cope with the costs of constant drugs and private care, as they cannot get the help off the state.
Of course we must see the soldiers as the enemy when they join and go to fight for imperialism, yet we should understand, most do not have a clue of their oppressive nature and do not see things in marxist terms.
Soldiers are lumpen, but just like soldiers in Nam, thousands could be won over to the cause, if we could gain support in the Military, then even if they wouldnt fight for revolution, they might not fight against the revolutionaries.
