Communist parties have never worked and never will because they give too much power to one person, and hard work is practically frowned upon. It causes citizens to think, "Well, I'm going to get the same amount as everyone else, so I might as well do less work." and eventually, this creates the domino effect, and it will become worse and worse until the point no one is working, and your country is collapsing. Great idea there.- That's a dictatorship. You don't need Communism to have a Dictatorship or vise versa.

- "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Not everyone is going to get the same, you'll get what you need. You'll always have the opportunity to do things yourself for yourself, such as building a fence that has a design you find attractive.
