PFLP: Acceptance of the Occupier to the OECD is support for occupation and oppression

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine denounced the decision to accept the membership of the Israeli occupation in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as an endorsement of aggression, occupation, siege, ethnic cleansing, violation of holy sites and human rights. Such acceptance is a complete rejection of the values of justice, democracy and human rights claimed by these so-called "liberal" and sophisticated wealthy states. Their true behavior on the ground, said the Front, is characterized by hypocrisy and double standards, as evidenced by this most recent endorsement of the criminal occupier.
The Front warned in its statement, issued May 10, 2010, that the state of occupation and its government, which sheds crocodile tears for so-called peace, has once again used the resumption of "indirect" negotiations as a cover in the international community before world public opinion in order to deepen its policies of settlement, ethnic cleansing and siege. Under the cover of indirect negotiations, the occupier tortures thousands of prisoners and continues to steal Palestinian land. However, the Front affirmed that despite such international complicity with the occupier - completely unsurprising from European colonialists and U.S. imperialism - the struggle for Palestinian independence, self-determination, return and liberation would continue until victory.
