Hey, Next year is my final year of high school. In Australia it's a tradition, that the final year seniors get to wear a school Jersey to school.
We are allowed to write an up-to 20 character word(s) on the back of them, I'm stuck deciding what I should get.

My brother is getting:
"What Would Marx Do?" -joke on WWJD.

So obviously I need something funnier than that.
Can anyone help suggest a funny socialist/communist/left wing message I can put on the back of mine?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, Mods feel free to move this.
Thanks in advance,
James.

I have never heard of that in my life. Either that or I'm confused as hell.

Yes, this belongs in chit-chat. Learning is for users to ask questions relating to... well, anything political or economic really.

Maybe it's a new tradition, I know that since I was in yr 7 it has been a tradition!

Mods can move this if they want.

Yeah it's that way at my school too.

'Live fast - troll hard' is a good one but I can't think of anything related to socialism. Anyway OP, which state are you in? I'm a year 11 in Perth. :)

Also please move to chitchat.

I don't intentionally wear my politics on my sleeves (literally!) where I can avoid it.

Why not get something not related to your politics? Why not some inside joke with your friends? This is what most of my friends did. Or why not try and smuggle something past the teachers who check the list by writing it in another language (your mother tounge for example)? One of lebanese mates got: 'telhasi teezi'.

Bilan who posts on here had one of the best jersey line's ever. It was in Latin. Bilan, what was it again?

I'm from Sydney.
I want to get something everyone can understand and laugh at, sort of like what my brother is getting, and something I'm interested in..
I was considering doing something relating to ancient History, (I'm highly interested in Egypt/middle east).

However it's twice as hard coming up with an Egyptian pun!

*tries to come up with idea*
*shuffles through corny puns about high marx on report cards*
*back of head feels pressure*
*dazes into space*
*refreshes thread to see if anyone thought of good ideas*

I like the high Marx, I may be able to work with it.

How about some combination of Jack Mundy (sydney commie hero), Jim Beam and Bundy Rum?

When I finished secondary school we could write on our shirts (or get others to do the same). Mainly it was crude cocks and sexual insinuations.

Well, if you feel like offending people in another language like Nic's friend did, this is one of my favorites:

There's a funny thing to do with a shirt when you sign it: draw an arrow at the bottom of the shirt, so it points to the groin of the wearer of the shirt, then write "property of [insert name here]", because that's really funny. Or you could have an arrow pointing to the bum and write "insert here"

Reminds me of what some U.S. schools do in the yearbooks where the senior graduating class can put some quote/headline/etc next to their picture.

I might get my colleages to do that on my work shirt when i quit my current crappy office job and move onto my target career that permits a t shirt and jeans ensemble every day.

Then you're missing the point. People seldom understand each other's jersies (unless they are your friend or whatever). Inside jokes, nicknames, atrocious lower case-upper case writing - either way, you can't please everyone.
