So I live in an apartment complex surrounded by many other apartment complexes. Almost everyday I hear this young chick singing along to '60s soul records. Shes got a beautiful voice. Sucks that theres such a large concentration of apartments where i live, so its nearly impossible to guess where this singing might be coming from. I might be in love :lol: :wub:
By the way i dont know if this belongs in chit chat or music. So i thought "what the hell" and just put it here ;)

This is descending into chit-chat material here, but once you source where the singing is coming from, you could always just knock and simply say something like "Sorry to bother you, but I've heard you singing and want to say you have an amazing voice. I'm ____, what's your name?"

It may come off as pretty stalker-y since you sort of looked for her, but if you're a musician as well then you could say that you really want to play some music with her or something... iuno. I'm a bit socially inept as well, and in my mind this should go okay, but some people are really sensitive to even pseudo-stalkery behaviour and may freak out.

Yeah I play guitar. I have a 7 year old basic Fender Strat. Its the cheapest model (it was around 80 bucks when i first got it), but it still kicks ass. Its really just the player that determines how "good" a guitar is. A decent amp is what gives it its sound, in my opinion.

Anyhoo, yeah ill definitely try that. I cant play no blues riffs, but rather, i play more of that punkish/surreal, psychedelic kind of sound. Hard to explain lol. I guess with her voice and a raw sort of sound, we could make some sweet ass music
