I'm not even a Cavs fan and I'm feeling the rage. This team of losers simply quit playing, down 9 with more than a minute remaining.

The clock ticks down -- 56 seconds ... 55 seconds ... 54 seconds -- and Mike Brown waves his arms, and his players just stand there. They just bleeping stand there. You know they're not going to win. I know they're not going to win. Boston is beating Cleveland by nine, and that's too much. There are no miracles left, not for this disappointing Cleveland team, not for this wooden version of LeBron James. They are not going to win, not tonight. I know that, everybody knows that. But they just stand there. They just bleeping stand there. These crybabies get paid millions to play ball, and what do they do? Freaking quit in the most important game of the season. Looks like Lebron James can jack up halfcourt 3s when his team is up by 20, but completely unravels when his team is under threat of elimination.

Greatest of all time? He doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as players like Reggie Miller and Tracy McGrady.

Yeah, this was pretty underwhelming. I definitely didn't expect the Celtics to pull it off, but hats off to them - Laker nation will see them in the Finals and get redemption for 2008. :)

This also proves wrong those who argued Lebron was better than Kobe. Lebron will be better than Kobe in all likelihood, but he isn't right now. His mental weaknesses showed through. Kobe doesn't suffer from this. Kobe plays through every injury, he's been injured damn near all year and has still be dominant.

T-Macs amazing, but I think his chronic injuries will prevent him from having a truly historic career.

Lebron now has a choice...either run to NY or stay in Cleveland. I think he should stay, the effect would be millions rooting for him due to his loyalty vs everyone not a Knicks fan seeing him as a mercenary and hoping he fails.

That said, this meltdown is not all on Lebron. There are no excuses for the teams play, but the Cavs management has not done well by the standard of legit championship seekers. Instead of building a solid team around Lebron, they have traded for spare parts on the cheap. Michael had Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, Kobe had Shaq in his prime and now Pau and Artest, Stockton-Malone, Magic and Kareem.

Who's Lebron had? An ancient Shaq? Ben Wallace? A bust in Jamison? As good as Lebron would look in a Warriors jersey (and he would look damn sexy), if he leaves Cleveland I'm hoping, out of his current supposed suitors, he lands in Chicago. I'm no Bulls fan, but, damn. Rose and Lebron. Enough said.

edit: Glad to see some NBA fans here, and by the way...

How does it feel San Antonio? HOW DOES IT FEEL NOW!!!!
