Found the article to be quite surprising - would usually expect much more bias from the economist.
I always thought that the mainstream media was systematically avoiding any publications about the nepalese revolution due to the fact that it had mass support and was becoming quite succesful. But I guess now not even the economist can ignore what's happening
It is interesting that the article does not give any examples of the maoists' alleged breaches of peace and democracy though

true, this article doesnt seem to have an obvious bias, wish all newspaper articles could be like this :/

I think this just shows how far the Maoists have gone in gaining support, in showing that they are serious about what they're doing & are about to create history here.

Found the article to be quite surprising - would usually expect much more bias from the economist.
The Economist's opinions are very right-wing. Their actual reporting tends to be pretty good, and reasonably honest.
