The following is by somebody calling himself 'jmsnooks' directed at me on Youtube. I was posting a few comments, and then he threw this massive pile of garbage at me:

In the USSR people had no freedom of thought, speech, religion, or expression. Their manufactored goods were pitiful, many of them were killed for supposedly disagreeing with the government, their technological level was pitiful, and no one was allowed to travel because if they could get out they stayed out. Also all of the people there were poor except for the ruling elites. I mean, if you are upset by a disparity in wealth, poverty, and control you the USSR is a great example.
History isn't over, and I don't believe in the Marxist view of it anyways. It's not the job of government to furnish people with anything, it's up to people to furnish themselves. All of the world's wealthiest countries are capitalist while the poorest ones have command economies. Most countries in Africa are fascist with varying degrees of command economies. Military dictatorship is not capitalism. So you want to fix Africa? Where are you going to get the experts and the finances to pay them? Also do you think they're going to work for the same rate as a basket pusher or assembly line factor worker? Heck no, not unless you force them, and then they aren't going to do their best job because there's no opportunity for advancement, they're just going to do the bare minimum they can get by with, which is why goods produced in communist countries are so pitiful. Congo is a communist country and it's just as backwards as the rest.
The problem with Africa is that it's still not completely civilized. It was mostly tribal for the longest time, but with the influx of foreign production they started having more kids than they could keep up with. The only way to fix Africa is with education, not with totalitarianism, they have more than enough totalitarianism already. Some people get more but a whole lot of people have everything taken away from them, and everyone is permanently locked into a position with a fixed payrate. Define "working people." Everyone who works is a working person, just people who work in factories. My needs are met just fine under the current system. Even the poor people in the US are wealthy compared with the average person in North Korea, or Africa. If you're so concerned about helping the 3rd world then you should go there and do some charity work giving of your own time and money, instead of trying to set up a system where my money is given away.
