This was posted by a old junior high school friend of mine on a social networking bulletin.

JUST SO I UNDERSTAND THIS...YOU PASS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YRS HARD LABOR, YOU PASS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET SHOT. YOU PASS THE AMERICAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET AJOB, DRIVER'S LICENSE, ALLOWANCE FOR A PLACE TO LIVE, HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SPENT SO YOU CAN READ A ...DOCUMENT. WE CARRY PASSPORTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES OR FACE JAIL TIME. REPOST IF YOU AGREE

While I already got into a debate with her about these LIES! I backed my arguments with links that show statistics and articles dealing with NAFTA, discrimination, labor exploitation and even to U.S laws of all the 44 states that don't grant all these ridiculous perks and privileges to "illegal immigrants." I doubt she cared to read them or educate her self on the issue.

Why do people chose to remain ignorant and think with their assholes? Where did this notion arise that "illegal immigrants" are some how untouchable by the law and can enjoy a lavish life of social services and perks by these country's "amazing social services?"

Why would anyone want the policies of an ostensible democracy to emulate those of authoritarian regimes?

You're surprised there's people who share those sentiments?

Exactly. Never mind that even, but the person who wrote this probably hasn't travelled outside of their state.

No, nothing's surprised me for a long time when it comes to these people.

Surprised? No. Disappointed? Most definitely.

I would really appreciate if anyone could provide some links that have statistics or anything relevant to the issue. I would like to provide friends who think this way some evidence that they have been misinformed
