Are the EDL coming to Sheffield.

The EDL are planning a march in Sheffield according to A-FED North and some other sources on the internet.
It's not on the EDL calander on their website but a friend said he read it in a local Sheffield magazine..

Nah man, they're doing Newcastle on May 29th.
They were planning to do Sheffield on that day but that was before the arrest of their leadership and cancellation of the Bradford demo. Their schedule has changed.

I'm not but i live reasonably close. Sheffield has quite a good leftist feel to it, quite afew reds around so you won't be short of being active there!

sheffield AF are pretty awesome if that's the tendency you're after. There's a social centre thing going on as well last time I heard.

I'm not sure if they are linked with AF but some Anarchist have set up their own punk DIY gallery in an old factory. They squat and you can go and see some of their work which is pretty decent.
