Do the German autonomen have any connection with the Italian autonomists?

Thanks.

Connected in which sense?

Im not too clued up on the autonomen so hopefully someone might be able to come fill you in a bit better but from my understanding, whilst the european autonomist movement in general is rooted in Italian autonomism, it materialised quite independetly in relation to local anatagonisms and activities. So for example Italian autonomism came out of the relative student/feminist/workers struggles and the german autonomen, feminist/anti nuclear/squatters movements. Also whilst the Italian and French movement was more rooted in marxism if memory serves me well, the Dutch and Germans had a more anarchist influence.
