For women in Nepal, the struggle for Freedom and Feminism cannot be fought for seperately, because the Communist party is spearheading both struggles.

Alot has changed since women set themselves on fire when they became widows, the Maoist Guerrillas are smashing patriachy and superstition with the proverbial red hammer, they are an inspiration to us all.

After building their ranks from a single cadre to whole divisions in the countryside, with the help of the peasants, the Maoists are leading Nepal to a brighter future, where no man will have the right to sell our labour for private gain.

Yes, I've seen this video before. It's amazing at the level of footage that was acquired within that video. Given the risks & everything.

I also enjoyed the fact at how the video shows how committed they are in protecting their unarmed cadres as well. That was a real biggy for me. Could make a grown man cry :crying: :thumbup1:

I don't really have time right now to watch a 20 minute video, can someone sum up what they are doing to aid women in advancing themselves in society?

cuz i want my information about the world spoon fed to me. After all 20 minutes is to long to spend on an important topic. Can't all truths be reduced to one or two sentences and handed to me?

Point definitely taken. But please learn some fucking politeness.

Edit: And I didn't find out anything about what the Maoists are doing to help from this video, I just learned about the situation.

First of all Nepal isn't the only interesting event happening in the world. I know I've been busy since I got home today skipping between the news from Greece and Nepal and the reports of the general election results here in the UK. Also some people have other things to do and don't have 20 minutes to spare to sit down and watch the video.

I don't think he was. If so, then those other people standing by the trucks didn't give a damn haha.
