Greece is at most experiencing a period of intense class struggle at the moment. There is no dual power, there is no parallel state, there is no revolution... yet. Nepal is far more advanced, and the Nepali government has just deployed the military to break the Maoist general strike.
If the Nepali Maoists didn't have brown skin they'd have their own forum. But it seems class struggle is only significant when it involved white anarchists.
I'm with you, but why do you even bother?

Someone has to. And for all it's faults, Revleft remains the largest and the best radical left forum on the internet.
There is nothing that a bunch of anarchos, trots, maoists, what have you can do in the west that will have any real bearing on the nepalese movement.

True, but a forum just for Nepal would be a great place for the situation to be discussed and for news to be announced.

For all their faults, the CPUSA remains the largest and best communist organization in the United States...

It should be named "The Situation"

I've just seen a thread where they are discussing a proposal regarding such a subforum, so it might be removed soon.

Yes, and it should be modeled after The Situation Room (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Situation_Room).

I disagree, and so do the Nepalis. They are very conscious of the need for an international solidarity movement behind them, and have made a number of statements recently about the need to improve their work in this area of things. I'm in touch with a fair number of the comrades over there (I've got at least a dozen or so Facebook friends currently on the streets of Katmandu... isn't the 21st century great :D) and they are always over the moon when they hear that people in the West are paying attention to their struggle. They don't care if we can afford to send them a bunch of tanks, they're just glad that the word is getting out. As one of the comrades recently said when I interviewed him:
What do you think is important for communists in the West to do to support the revolution in Nepal?
Bhuban: They should report the actual ground situation of Nepal and should spray the message of revolution all over the world.
And Bhattarai recently had this to say.
At Last, What are expectations of the UCPN-Maoist with the foreign revolutionary forces ?
In the present era of globalize imperialism, Proletarian revolution in any country is linked with the international proletarian movement. In that sense, we need a continuous solidarity and support from international proletarian forces for the advancement of the revolution and defend it against the imperialist and expansionist forces attack. So, we appeal to all our comrades internationally to continue with the cooperation to defend games against revolution of Nepal for the completion of revolution. The solidarity helps the revolution to defend it from the internal and the external intervention in coming days.
Would you like to deliver any message to the people and the friends ?
Through The Red Star, I would like to all the revolutionary forces of Nepal, South Asia and else where. The present era of imperialism, no revolution of any country can be succeeded without international solidarity in this present global era. All the oppressed people and the workers of the world should unite against the hegemony of the reaction. I would like to appeal to all the revolutionary forces to keep it in their mind and extend cooperative solidarity to continue the Nepalese revolution.
So they actually see international solidarity work as quite important, and that includes internet work to them.

The idea of a 'Situation Room' forum is great, I totally support it.

what kind of idiotic comparison is this? are you one of those types who thinks revleft is an actual replacement for a IRL organisation, instead of just a messageboard?
EDIT: oops it was closed, sorry
