I guess the question there is whether Hamas has any intention of consistently fighting Zionism and imperialism, or whether it is (like the PLO) simply a bourgeois organization interested in furthering its own class interests, and therefore interested in collaborating with Zionist imperialism and, among other things, in assisting with policing and putting down protests and workers struggles in the region. I think Hamas' actions have already answered this question quite clearly, although it would seem that some are not listening.
Of course, it is also worth pointing out that contrasting 'living under Hamas' with ‘living under oppression from Israel’ as though these are somehow mutually exclusive is obviously a false way of presenting it. It is not as if Zionist violence and oppression is any less because Hamas is in power.
