Well, I listened to him speak. In short, he is very different in real life to in his writings. Not at all as sectarian as he supposes to be. To the extent that his "anti-left" position seemed totally eclipsed by his nostalgic union activism when he told me to "keep up the good work" in regard to my current Syndicalist activism. He even said that democratic unions may represent a stepping stone toward a better society.

Of course his conclusions are insane and i wouldn't pretend otherwise, but he does posit questions that other sections of the (revolutionary) left have not commented on much, and he is cognitively 'all there'. I mean, yo ucan't troll him by saying he uses planes and things because he pretty much takes the piss out of himself on those points.

But apart from his interesting Antrhopoligical analysis and his friendly persona, he holds some very concerning ideas. He quite openly admired that there would need to be a population decrees which "may be quite rapid" and associated his neo-tribalism with our movement, causing us association damage...
