Great episode. The reporter was funny too.
"Are you excited as a black African-American negro?"

I liked the German reporter's dramatic response to everything Huey says (such as when he says he's so depressed by Huey's lack of enthusiasm that he "felt like cutting [his] own wrists."
That, and Huey's portrayal as a "domestic terrorist."
A great start to the new season! :thumbup1:

The first Thugnificent interview (when he is all suprised about Obama) is based on this one with DMX: http://www.xxlmag.com/online/?p=20332

Pretty great. I've been saying for years that Tom Dubois is basically exactly the same person as Mr. Obama.

Huey better not stay retired, his activism would be missed.

Great episode. The reporter was funny too.
"Are you excited as a black African-American negro?"
His fucking face and the voice over after Huey said "eh" still makes me laugh.

I think they actually referenced Obama back when he was a senator or something, if I recall.

I enjoyed the episode. It gave jabs at both the Obamanuts, the right-wing idiots (Uncle Ruckus!), and I guess the youthful disillusionment activists with Obama.
For those of you haven't seen Boondocks before,

I love how true the carwash situation is. As soon as you say you don't care that he won, you're a racist. Color doesn't change the fact that they're puppets for corporations. Are there any half latino half asians in high politics for next election?
I too hope (irrationally :P) that Huey gets back in the business.

Season 3 will be the last season sadly. So even if Huey comes out of retirement we wont be able to enjoy that much of it.

I have a feeling Huey being retired and Obama being president are going to be major plot points for this season.
