I have an uncle in the royal marines, i always get in arguements and shouting matches with him about the job he does and the way he talks about the occupation, but one thing he said made me think.
Last year a afghan copper killed 7 british soldiers, the taliban claimed responsibility, but my uncle said it was due to the sultural caste system.
He when he was training afghan soldiers, a man from a wealthy family refused to take orders off the best afghan recruit, because he said he was below him and a common, he refused to do anything the poorer recruit instructed.
My uncle said that the copper who shot 7 soldiers was sick of being treated like shit and just had enough and shot the place up.
He also said the army would sweep it under the carpet and put a bullet in his head, i said yeah because violence is working out for you already, he mumbled something and walked off.
Could he be right in his statements?
