Ok I'm an idiot when it comes to new fangled gadgets but I have a MAC and I want to download itunes so I can listen to them.
The cheaper the better - should I get an mp3 player? Or an ipod? Which one and where can I get it on the cheap?
If you help me out the next time I see a rainbow I'll make a wish for you.
Thanks comrades

ipods are nice but I kind of think when you buy an apple product you're paying for the name. I recently bought a 16 gig Sony Walkman myself. It might not be as slick as Apple's stuff but it still plays music and video. Also it was less expensive than the 8 gig nano.

i can confirm that, and also i can confirm you that the one who get screwed are not only the customer but the salesman too.

I don't use itunes myself except for occasional podcasts but yes, it works with itunes.

The problem is, Apple has a near-monopoly on the large-capacity mp3 player market. I needed an mp3 player that could hold at least 50gb of media, but I couldn't find anyone that made them anymore except for the iPod!
