Per capita level, China's resource consumption is lower than developed countries. China's consumption of 8 million barrels of oil per day, while the U.S. consumes 20 million barrels of oil per day. China's population accounts for 25% of the world, consumption of oil less than 10% of world oil consumption. While the population accounts for 5% of the world the United States, oil consumption accounted for 25% of global oil consumption. China has already begun efforts to improve the efficient use of resources. China's environmental protection as a photographer I deeply feel that. The United States should do something about it? Does Obama and his leadership team is doing nothing? Please answer me.

I don't think that they actually want to do something in this regard. But still, China should give emphasis on efficient use of oil.

I wonder if this is the reason why, instead of it being that the Chinese government has more environmentally friendly technology.

The United States should do something about it? Does Obama and his leadership team is doing nothing? Please answer me.Obama supports offshore drilling, however he also strengthened the environmental standards on the cars made by US automakers. I'm sure you could find more if you searched for it. Are news articles on Obama censored in China?

Shameful fro the US. I hate to hear Westerners moan about China's pollution: Western Europe merely outsourcing all their pollution and the USA is tied with China for Co2 with only a quarter of the population, not to mention that much of China's pollution is for the sake of American consumption.
