View Full Version : Speaking of the Boston Globe...

Stand Your Ground
27th April 2010, 02:27
I just got this in my email (not from TBG it's from the Human Rights Campaign):

Last week, the Boston Globe issued a strong call to the Legislature to pass the Transgender Civil Rights Bill, adding incredible momentum to the long campaign to ensure full equality for all LGBT people in Massachusetts.

Here's a sample of what the Globe said about the bill:
"To help [transgender people] obtain jobs and homes, and to protect them from violence, the legislation would add "gender identity" to race, religion, sexual orientation, and other categories covered by Massachusetts anti-discrimination and hate-crime laws. It's that simple."

It is that simple. But we need you to add your voice to the debate and continue the momentum to pass this bill. We have a very small window of opportunity right now, but our opponents are pulling out all the stops to defeat this important bill.

Call Rep. Christopher Donelan (617) 722-2230 . Tell Rep. Donelan to pass Budget Amendment #764 before the end of this legislative session.

Your voice matters. It's that simple.
