Which song/music would be perfect for blasting out of large speakers during the "final struggle" of the proletariat marching through the streets?
I'll go first :p

My personal choice would be either Lady Gaga or Katy Perry, I'm not sure how well that would go down with other people though so I'm just going to say Expression Direkt.

During? I don't think it would really be possible. Life, alas, is not a film, and there almost always is no background music. However, when a film savvy proletarian makes a movie about a climax or turning point, he will look back at this thread and take my advice.
The scene opens with the city in chaos. The bourgeois leader (the one who has been focused on in the movie) walks though his mansion, into a hall, it is dark and the piano is dimly lit.

(kinda like this with less people)
He sits down and begins to play this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQVeaIHWWck
It then cuts to various scenes of workers clashing with police in the streets.

They slowly get closer to where the bourgeois leader is during the progression of the song.
Right as he finishes, Workers burst into the hall, aim their guns, and the screen goes blank.

the sound of revolution will be ahead of us as we charge the last of the counter-revolutionary lines, a woman picks up an accordion and all of a sudden a band appears. suddenly everyone knows the warschawjanka in german and sings while over-running the enemy.

On Revolution Day One the workers shouldn't be marching the street or enjoying music. They should be at their workplaces. They need to be there to physically lock our or throw out any ruling class lackeys who may be attempting to disrupt the recent social changes. In addition, the switch to a new administrative system will cause some amount of confusion for a few days, and their presence may be needed to prevent any discontinuity in the flow of food, electricity, medicine, or other necessities.

Init, mate. God knows if I live to see the revolution reach Britain (or, assuming I get tired of this dreadful people, France) then I'm doing it the minute the capital is seized. If it goes, badly, I'll blame euphoria, so Holden Caulfield or whatever his name is might want to keep his distance a bit.

On the night of revolution Coldplay will be shot on the same line as David Cameron, Nick Griffin and whatever fruitbat runs the UKIP and their music will be banned. Second, what does a pretentious beardy bloke dancing to violins have to do with proletarian revolution, either seriously or sarcastically? Joke fail. Third, by the 18th C., the Renaissance was over. Seriously, nobody else pick cheesy pop songs because so far none of them have worked.

Sorry, I get muddled between the renaissance and enlightenment. The "joke" (I'm sorry if it was very bad) was the rather tenuous link that this song is about the French revolution, which was influenced by the enlightment, or vice versa; Hegel planted a "liberty tree" for the revolution. One of the lyrics is "I used to rule the world, see the fear in my enemies eyes" - maybe this is what the ruling classes would sing as the revolution happened. Also, I don't think Coldplay are that cheesy. Wait, no, Coldplay are probably the epitome of cheesy, hence why they're so fantastic.
