What do you think of the article? Personally I think the strategy it puts forth, of focusing on the micro level (changing individual businesses to pseudo cooperatives) is a good one to take. You position yourself as fighting for democracy and not centralized control by a bunch of bureaucrats. I think more people would be willing to rally around it as well, as opposed to the statements so common in so many party constitutions that say "we want the government to do this, and pay for this, and give us free that." Not to mention it's more revolutionary as well. Governments giving citizens services paid for with tax money has been around for ages. Democratic control of the workplace hasn't.
Also, this strategy seems to be an especially good thing to push for in light of the amount of businesses going bankrupt. Imagine a left pushing not for bailouts for failing capitalists, but workers' control of the workplaces that their bosses failed to manage. I imagine those of us in America could get some of the proletarian Teabaggers to come to our side if we showed them a socialism that wasn't focused on raising taxes on the poor so the government could give alms to the rich (which in their minds is all socialism is).
