"Believe in?" It's not like they're spirits or something  they were real people that actually existed, unlike some other figures that people "believe in."

But I digress. Welcome.

Not everybody here "believe" in such people, and not all communists are marxist-leninists.

Welcome.

Yes, and they will also tell stories of how karatekas did not use methods prescribed by tai chi to defeat their opponents, and instead beat the shit out of tai chi practitioners ( who could not save themselves despite tai chi being far superior to karate ). And all this will happen while karate will continue to stand its ground as a far more popular and powerful martial art that people actually use for self defense.

Indeed, let us give authentic introductions to Revleft, perhaps all of our smiling faces and obligatory welcomes are liable to mislead.

why does people believe in mao and stalin? Why do people still believe in Nixon and Reagan?

Seriously though, things are never as simply as the bourgeoisie would like you to think. History is never black and white. There's always a thousand different parameters and circumstances they can affect which way an event sways. To say "Mao was murderer, he killed 4000 million people!!!!1!11" is taken completely out of contest. Trotsky killed people as well.

Oh and welcome :)

xDNo, our estimate for deaths under Mao is at about 154 million, give or take a few. He killed them all himself, with a rusty screwdriver, riding a fiery chariot pulled by Deng Xiaoping and Zhou Enlai. I find it to be a much more level-headed take on the whole situation.
