i am looking for a verry simple device that i could use to charge up my Ipod by plugging any kind of battery on the other end.
if any of you have blueprint and idea, Fire away.

I'm not an expert by any means, but you'll probably need to know what sort of battery we're talking about here. Are you hoping to charge it off a a fourpack of AA batteries, or a big old car battery. The voltage is going to be important on what you hope to achieve, because voltage degrades with batteries quickly, which will vastly effect how much you can actualy use of the batteries.

i was thinking about a verry generic battery, but if its not feasable i might go for a old UPS battery that could be recharged.
