Something I just discovered today, just thought I'd share with you guys.

http://www.nationstates.net/

You choose what kind of country you are, your currency, flag etc etc and you're faced with two issues a day to solve and it determines how your country does.

I miss NationStates 2. :( NationStates 1 gets old, real fast.

Old, but interesting that you should post about it, since I was thinking about it just recently. I wondered if it would be interesting for one member to create an account and make a poll for each question, so that the resulting "NationState" would reflect the (self-selected) majority at RevLeft.

Of course, it would wind up a fascist shithole if it were done in OI. :D

It's not like it would mean anything. NationStates satirises all ideologies, and your choices will always have hilarious consequences.

I used to play that all the time, but school got me busy and I didn't log in for a long time and it disappeared. I bet it's gone again now since I haven't logged in forever. I should start it up again since this term is almost over with and I'm taking summer off. :)

Oh man. The story of NS2 is lol. Basically OMAC ripped off Max Berry and couldn't code worth a damn, all to fund this Zork clone they were working on. Once this broke OMAC pulled the plug.

I got bored of Nation States pretty fast but I've bought although of Max Barrys books, well...all three of them and he's among my favourite "still alive" authors.

I have two account, one trying to bend to my real ideology (though it gets stuck at somewhere up left but just not quite leftwing utopia, I just keep getting the wrong questions.)

The other is a steampunk-corporocracy!
