I once read a rather long essay in the back of a book about World Religions on Dialetic Materialism. The writer gave an indroduction to the theory, saying that it was communism in nature. He also made points that Communism, or Dialetic Materialism ( I have yet to see the corrospondence between the two, although I believe Dialetic Materialism to be more philosophic in nature, but I really don't know) fits the definition of a religion. He also stressed the need for Christian-Marxist dialogue.
I really don't know what Dialetic Materialism is, if it is even possible for it to be a religion. I don't think if it could be a religion is relavent or not. Can some please clear all this up to me a possibly explain (briefly) what Dialetic Materialism is? Thank you.
