I'm new to democratic socialism. I'm 19 and I did some research on socialism after seeing "Capitalism: A Love Story" and seeing Bernie Sanders talk about his views.

As you can see from the title of the thread, I live in Arkansas.
Meeting other democratic socialists/socialists/Leftists in Arkansas would be awesome. I feel sort of lonely here.

I plan to start a Progressive political group at my college next semester (in August).

I'm in college to be a social worker or possibly work in student services at a college.

I'm an oddity in Arkansas. A black atheist democratic socialist lesbian. Normally the atheist or lesbian thing is enough to win me enemies but oh well. F 'em.
