I saw the sticky, but that was for songs. Music wasn't meant to be taken song by song, you don't read random chapters in a book, you don't watch random scenes in a movie, or acts in a play, or stanzas in a poem, and you don't listen to random songs. The artist made the album not the song... unless it was a single of course :P

That being said, post in this topic and I'll recommend you an album that fits some sort of description that you give, or a random album if you like, just tell me how many recs you'd like. I will request that after I or somebody else recommends you something that you return the favour so we can keep this going.

Just as a general note for what I listen to so you can know what to expect to be recommended. Metal, Shoegaze, Darkwave, Synthpop, Breakcore, Jazz, Classical, Neo-folk and Folk, Drum'n'Bass, Reggae, Afropop, Rap, Hip Hop, Psychedelic, straight up Pop, Trip Hop, Trance, 8bit, Chiptunes, Experimental, Dark Cabaret, Harsh Noise, Noise Rock, Doom Disco, and all sorts of other genres sub-genres sub-sub-genres and etc.

I have one album to contribute to this thread, that anyone into hip hop and sci-fi themes would love: Deltron 3030

My favorite album in years, I couldn't stop listening for months.

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien raps in it, so you know it's great.
