Hey comrades, i have been really enthusiastic about getting involved in the struggles but i cannot find any groups that are doing anything.

The cpgbml are a decent looking party but they lack any groundwork, i have never seen a member of their or any communist pparty on a single council estate, whats the point of having a party if they just theorize?
the RCG seem to be the most millitant, though i have been told they are full of students, i am not sure if this is true, tbh i cant stand students because they act all radical and proliour than thou then when they finish their studies they fuck off and get some high paid job and turn there back on marxism.

If anyone knows of any groups, party that is millitantly building socialism please let me know

Cheers

ps, no angry brigade type muppet counter revolutionary groups please :)

I don't think you'll be able to find any organisation that is doing that.

The conditions in Europe at present will not support that.

I dont mean engaging in armed struggle, i mean getting into estates and educating organising the working class

Obviously I'm going to be biased towards CPGB-ML, if you are interested in getting involved in our work send me a PM and we can discuss further. With regards to the RCG, yes, they do have a lot of students, but don't let that put you off, these aren't trendy lefty SWP/UAF/CPB type students, they are very real revolutionaries and the RCG is an excellent party who do a lot of great work. CPGB-ML has good relations with the RCG so if you were to join one and decide that the grass might be greener on the other side you would not find the transition too difficult.

The RCG are very active provided you are in a major city. For instance, in London they have a weekly picket of M&S in support of Palestine, have regular (every month or other month) public meetings, often with film showings, and work very very actively amongst in particular the Prisoner's movement, alongside the African community in Brixton especially, and generally do a lot of brilliant work. They regularly do paper sales here, and of course are very active in the anti-imperialist movement worldwide, and do brilliant support work of the Cuban revolution. In my view at least they have a very correct line and are real Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries, not a bunch of your average "angry middle class student" group. They are pretty diverse, very far from being all students, which is much more than can be said for other groups in the British left. So yes, they are a very very good group. The CPGB-ML are also very good, despite me disagreeing with their line on a few issues, but they definately are full of real revolutionaries and Marxist Leninists, although admittedly they seem relatively inactive. I know they've started a youth section up recently however, I don't know if that'll help?

Either way, both very very good groups, although the RCG are in my opinion the best of the UK left by lightyears.

If you can't find a good Marxist group you like, start doing your own work. Find social democrats, anarchists, peace activists - it's better than nothing, and it'll get you in the door.

SPEW seem to be quite active but it depends what ideology you want. There's at least 30 different groups in the UK alone claiming to adhere to Marxism so you'll have to be more specific.
