Y'know, I like discussing politics with cricket fans. It generally goes something like this:
"So you're a commie?"
"Yeah."
"Why do you oppose capitalism?"
"Well, usually I would talk about the current crisis and how it reveals that the economy is out of human control and so on, but... Lalit Modi."
"Wow, you've got a DLF good point. So what is communism?"
*Explain communism*
"I agree completely.
It really keeps things shorter, which is always nice. Anyway, I'm a leg spinner, and currently still working on accuracy, though improving a fair bit. Probably my best remembered moment in international cricket is when Kenya got to the World Cup semis in 2003, that was a brilliant thing. It's a pity that teams like Zimbabwe and Kenya have generally suffered quite harshly from politics and the like. Do we have any other cricket people here?
