I tried reading this book when i was 15 and found it very boring. I recently flicked through it again and it seems pretty useless. The thing about puting a molotov cocktail on the end of the gun was interesting though.

For writings on Guerilla Warfare i think Mao is better. You may also find Regis Debray "Revolution in the Revolution" interesting if you liked Che's GW

So go for Mao's Guerrilla Warfare and not Che's? Is Che's book like some less extreme version of Anarchist's Cookbook and Mao focuses on tactics? I don't know too much about those books.

The rifle grenade via molotov cocktail into the barrel of a gun was brilliant. Other than that, I don't recall much. I should probably read it again, but Che's ideas are probably slightly outdated by now, whereas Mao simply gives mobilization and armed conflict tactics.

, but Che's ideas are probably slightly outdated by now, .
There's that and the fact that Che was fighting in jungles where the conditions are slightly different, then now a days. Granted he devoted a chapter to urban warfare. Although a lot more could be said on that topic.

This was probably the first really leftist book I ever read. I had a hard time of it too because I insisted on reading it in the original Spanish. This was quite a few years ago. The only thing I really remember is Che arguing against terrorism. And if I'm not mistaken, he argues that urban warfare is to be avoided.

This is as well the first leftist book i read. The thing is Che mainly fought in the jungle's were you are more flexible as far as ambushes and raids go. while fighting in urban Areas you were greatly restricted as to what you can do. Don't take my word for it thats what i think he was talking about
