Now available from the Internationalist Group:
What Strategy for Black Liberation? Trotskyism vs. Black Nationalism
We are reprinting here the contents of Marxist Bulletin no. 5 (Revised), originally published by the Spartacist League/U.S. in 1978 when it was a defender of revolutionary Trotskyism. In addition, we are appending "Black and Red -- Class Struggle Road to Negro Freedom," which was adopted at the founding conference of the SL/U.S. in September 1966, and later reprinted in the SL's Marxist Bulletin no. 9. Readers are also referred to the selection of writings by Richard S. Frasier published by the Prometheus Research Library (August 1990). The Internationalist Group upholds these documents as central to the struggle for black liberation through socialist revolution, the key distinctive feature and decisive question of the struggle for workers revolution in the United States.
