Amiri Baraka, a poet and political activist, spoke with RT about communism as a perfect system, as well as about detainee torture in the US and reasons behind America not preventing the 9/11 tragedy.

I love how Mr. Baraka pointed out how first we must gain democracy before we gain socialism. Which is, as he pointed out, is a need here in America. I personally don't believe Obama will bring a people's democracy here in America, as he so believes in, but notice how Russia Today first, before getting on with the interview, said that Mr. Baraka believes that Obama will bring socialism, which of course most right-wingers will take this as truth. But if you wait for the interview, as the interviewer asked if he believes he'll bring socialism, & he clearly stated No! I enjoyed watching this, but you can tell that Russia Today was very much against Mr. Baraka & his beliefs. Though, this is coming from the same people who see Alex Jones as a legitimate investigator.

All true, still it is rare that you get to see communists giving the opportunity to speak out like that. If bourgeois media provides the opportunity, it is best to take advantage of that.
