What do you think the greatest human achievement is?
I think it is man landing on the moon; it's the culmination of so much science, and and the beginning of so much more.

Moon is pretty impressive. Air travel is as well. Nuclear power. Bio-technology. Historical materialism. Anything that has helped us better control or understand nature, or overcome its barriers, is a great achievement.

cooking, agriculture and domestication of animals, writing, maths, scientific method, sanitation, medicine, control of electricity

Exactly. Of course, you could say something very similar about the fully-opposable (i.e., prehensile) thumb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumb), but that was likely an achievement of Homo habilis or Homo erectus, not Homo sapiens.
