Here is my idea:

Companies are ran by direct worker democracy of everything according from production, to marketing and to selling. The wealth should be put into a collective and wage distributed among people based on amount of labor input but with a cap on the maximum hours and wage.

Is this already an ideology?

Also, I am not at all an expert in economics, the only books I've read are that of Marx and Engels.

Lastly, are there any flaws in this? Like, people say that the wage system should be abolished. But what if one man inputs more labor than another? Should they be equally paid?

Thanks!

Abolishing the wage system doesn't mean paying everyone equally.

What you're talking about is basically a co-op. And it's not an ideology. Communism is an ideology, what you're talking about is an idea.

No wages = no pay.

I thought the definition of wage was what a capitalist pays his workers. If this is the case, then the abolition of wages (capitalists paying workers) doesn't necessarily mean the abolition of earning money.

Yes, in fact equal payment is probably the wage system in it's worst form.

And to the OP: One of the basic ideas for a socialist society when it comes to reward for work is "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need". People should not be equally paid, socialism is fair wages not equal wages. Should a single mother of two young children be paid the same as a middle-aged man with a wife and no children? Think about it. Wages should be paid according to the need of the worker and how much work they put in.
