The state has been the most destructive force in history. Individuals, in my opinion, have the ability to organize voluntarily. The state on the other hand is the exact opposite of this. It forces people to organize and subsequently uses these people to fuel its expansion. The state is a parasite that feeds off of productive people, without which it would not exist. The idea of using force in order to strengthen your power is disgusting and yet it has been happening for thousands of years. Whether under god kings, dictators, or presidents the state has continually used people for it's benefit at the cost of these people. It needs people to work hard and to produce or else it has no way to live b/c you can't take from nothing. Why would anybody support the state. Free markets means voluntary trade and interaction, but the state on the other hand is forced trade and forced interaction. The state is only seeking to strengthen itself and it allows itself to be influenced into subverting the free market so that it can get paid off by the companies it is helping. It uses its military and police forces to control its people and the people abroad. It goes to war with other states and uses nationalism and other ideas to make state wars, wars of the people. It enforces classes so that the people running the state may be of the upper class. It causes economic bubbles so that when the shit hits the fan it may step in and play central planner. The state is destructive, no matter how it comes about. A pure democratic state will still oppress its people, b/c the people it is oppressing only have a few options of oppressors. This also eliminates the minority of one and instead makes people identify with a party and loyalty to the party eventually trumps loyalty to one's self. We the people is a sham b/c collectivism is nothing more than a tool of the state to exert more control over people. The government doesn't represent anybody but a select few, and this would be okay if the government only ruled over that select few, but no it rules over us all. People have the knowledge and ability to rule their own lives, but they choose not to. The state knows this and it uses it by saying that we are helping you when in the end it is only to control you.

So do you ever get tired of mindlessly regurgitating talking points about the evils of TEH COLLECTIVISM or what?

I don't really disagree with this in itself, except that it's capitalists that do the exploiting. The state is only an instrument of class rule. The state ultimately answers to the highest financial circles, who it gets its capital from.
Free markets means voluntary trade and interaction,Free markets are imaginary theoretical constructs. You'll find businesses can constrict freedom as cruelly as any nation state. People tend to like money more than the rights of others under their sway.
but the state on the other hand is forced trade and forced interaction. The state is only seeking to strengthen itself and it allows itself to be influenced into subverting the free market so that it can get paid off by the companies it is helping. It uses its military and police forces to control its people and the people abroad. It goes to war with other states and uses nationalism and other ideas to make state wars, wars of the people.Ok. But you can't subvert something that doesn't exist. The state made capitalism what it is.
Wars of the people?
It enforces classes so that the people running the state may be of the upper class.Capital by nature divides people into classes. The state's role is to protect this hierarchy. Without the state that serves the capitalists, the hierarchy-and capital-will cease to exist.
It causes economic bubbles so that when the shit hits the fan it may step in and play central planner.Actually what your friends at Mises.org don't tell you is that foolish business practices create bubbles just as the government regulations that benefit them. The fault for economic trouble is not with the state alone, but with the entire system.
The state is destructive, no matter how it comes about. Yes, the state by nature must be destructive either toward the workers or the capitalists. We prefer that it target the latter while under the control of the former.
A pure democratic state will still oppress its people, b/c the people it is oppressing only have a few options of oppressors. This also eliminates the minority of one and instead makes people identify with a party and loyalty to the party eventually trumps loyalty to one's self. The state knows this and it uses it by saying that we are helping you when in the end it is only to control you.Now you're just rambling.
