Just found out about it recently from the main page : http://www.thepiratebay.org. The torrent linking to the ACTA pdf file is here : http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5425059/ACTA_Agreement_leaked_ From the description :
The leaked ACTA agreement! Soon to be copy pasted into a law near you. "It provides for criminalization of copyright infringement, granting law enforcement the powers to perform criminal investigation, arrests and pursue criminal citations or prosecution of suspects who MAY have infringed on copyright" Basically, you're guilty until proven otherwise. Nice move big brother, nice move. Read more about it here: http://werebuild.eu/wiki/index.php?title=ACTA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Counterfeiting_Trade_Agreement http://yro.slashdot.org/story/10/03/24/1214239/Full-ACTA-Leak-On-Line http://www.michaelgeist.ca/tags/acta/ More to come. Please post interesting links in the comments and we'll add 'em up here. Considering the fact that the US loves shoving its laws up their trade partner's asses, we're in for a surprise. They had the guts to force Sweden to break its own laws to confiscate PirateBay's servers; now they're building a framework to streamline such actions. What do you guys think about this, and if anyone goes on to cover the document, what do you think about its contents ? I'm reading it now, but I don't think that I'll understand all this law jargon.
