All my life my mum told me religeon was something people made up out of ignorance before science, she also told me that religeon was what made women inferior in many peoples eyes, in a way she was the most leftist person i knew.

My question is, how do we encorporate muslims, christians bhuddists etc into the struggle while maintaining all revolutionary ideals and not selling out to more conservative influences.

A hell of a lot of the workers on this earth are religeous, how do we for example, show them abortion is not akin to murder, how do we stop the sexism and bigotry of fundamentalism from tainting the revolution as we gain more and more support.

to answer your OP..i think orginized religion is quite a roadblock, it is orginized authoritarian religion which does these things, i don't see anything wrong with individual beliefs, as long as kids arn't raised to believe them, it should be there choice.
