Ex-Yugoslavian band, famous for its leftist and anticapitalist message, led by musical genius Darko Rundek. Rundek was one of the leaders of the "new wave" in Yugoslavia, the first person who showed the middle finger on state's official television station and above all, a poet.
It's the band who played world music when nobody has ever heard about the term, been artistic and still not boring, been punks without the mohawks.
While Haustor's music is, in deed about lyrics, music is exceptionally good as well, so, my RevLeft friends, a warm invitation to enjoy both Rundek and Haustor's music with me. :)

The first one would be the song that calls people on to the barricades, because "now is the time". "From the barricades, we shout No Pasaran!"

The second one is an adaptation of a famous revolutionary song "Ay Carmela"

If you managed to listen this far, and still like it, this one is called "Third World"

Little known fact is that the original band name was Komuna (The Commune), but it was later changed into Haustor.

One more song, now this time, a love song.

And these are the lyrics of the 1st song I posted here that I managed to translate, because, like I said in the first post, Haustor's lyrics are poetry. Revolutionary poetry, in this case.

Sejmeni (Occupiers)

What a dangerous afternoon
Smell of oil, smell of sweat
From the distance echo the sound of engines...
From the distance...

Behind the windows are the rifles
Behind the rifles there are eyes
Behind the eyes are the hands
Behind the hands a heart is pumping...

Baby, don't be affraid, I'll be by your side
When the time comes...

In front of the house our men are standing, ready to fight
Cold gun tubes are waiting for the sign
Boys in black have started their engines
They leave fire stains...

In us the times are changing
And now everybody is ready to fight for a dream
In us the times are changing
Form barricades we will shout "No Pasaran!"

When the time comes....

Occupiers are coming
They bring chains...
People are looking at them
They will never let them pass...

Now is the time!
Now is the time!
Now is the time!
