NCAA Tournament

I know this is a European dominated forum but I was still surprised to see no thread on the NCAA Basketball Tournament. It's been a wild year with lots of upsets, UNI over Kansas of course being the most earth-shattering. My bracket is fucked so I figure I'll just enjoy the remaining games, while rooting for Kansas State and St. Mary's (I love watching them play. picked em to beat villanova) and against Ohio State.

What are your thoughts, if you've been following the tourney?

Cornell is going to take down UK.

Ok, probably not, but I could see Duke getting into a close game against Purdue, easily. Though that may depend on the refs, if Duke is able to get to the line constantly with, ahem, pussy ass charges called then it could be a wide margin. If the refs do what they should and let them grind it out,, Purdue could easily win.

I would love to see that happen but I doubt it. It's going to be interested because it's such a contrast in styles. They're not going to be able to guard Wall, that's certain; they're going to have to just minimize his impact. As for post play I know Cornell has that 7 foot 2 guy but I haven't watched him play enough to know how good he is and whether he can shut down Cousins. That will be important.

Again, I'd like to see it (I hate Duke) but I don't so. Purdue is still having trouble generating offense and this is a pretty good Duke team.

btw I really hope they don't expand the field to 95.

I found this thread too late. I'm a huge NCAA basketball fan. I was hoping for Butler to win too. I'm a Kentucky boy, so I was pissed to see UK lose, especially after such a successful season. Never the less my hatred for Duke runs deep, and that win was bullshit. Butler should have won.
