A few years ago my Dad was made redundant, he got about thirty grand because he worked at his job for over 28 years.
He decided to take me and my Mum to cuba (Before i was a socialist), all i did was sit on the beach with alchohol and cigars at 13 haha.
Anyway we went on a boat trip ran by the hotel, and halfway on our journey the staff got a huge pile of cigs, booze etc and the locals in the boat next to us were cutting up shark meat, they gave the staff on our boat the shark meat ( i think only t6he sticky out part, and they gave the locals the cigs and booze.

So isnt this an example of free trade, isnt this illegal under socialism and if the socialist society is flourishing whgy do they have to do this, i personally think it is because of the embargo, but i think the Cuban Government wouldnt be happy, or am i wrong?

That sounds more like bater than free trade, althought free trade is a economic concept (involving less government interference in the market) as opposed to just two people swapping items. This is grossly over-simplified of course, but if you make a thread in economics (http://www.revleft.com/vb/economics-f139/index.html)someone with more knowladge on the subject can probably answear you better.
