The revolution will start with food workers - those processing your food before its packaged. Support workers by supporting local, non-factory farms; it will help create jobs because the ability to mass produce food in one location will decrease opening up jobs near where people live.

I understand and recognize that this is an elitist attitude as most people don't have access to affordable food that won't cause them health problems. So to remedy this, those who can afford to really choose what food they eat, should make that choice available to everyone (starting with the people in their community, neighboring communities, and so on). [How to do this should be discussed]

End the ability to patent and therefore own the intellectual property of life, ie seeds. uSA* farmers (the majority of whom work for large corporations who happen to have such a patent) are not allowed to keep their seeds. There used to be public seeds, bring back public seeds - anyone who wants to grow food should be allowed to!

Help the workers who touch (or don't touch...ewww [watch Food, Inc. that will make sense]) your food at every stage of its life (pre-birth to food), gain rights and respect. There was a time in uSA when working to process food was a respectable job, as respectable as an autoworker's job (ie both middle class jobs - decent wage, ability to support a family, etc.). Remember Upton Sinclair wrote The Jungle? That book helped lead to the changes that made this decent wage possible and food edible. Well, corporations took over and now it is back to bad times for workers, food animals, food plants, and the environment.

People living in each state of uSA should be backing food workers because it will also help stop the exploitation of people and the unrealistic market competition for food in other countries (which leads to famine and loss of jobs among other things). To be honest knowing what's going on with food in uSA makes it not surprising that people in other countries hate us.

Support Food Workers! So they will have the ability to help themselves and start ending the corporations before they end us.

[Writer's note, uSA will be used to mean "the United States of America", it feels odd to continually write it all out and I don't want to make any other nations from America (both North and South) or nations with 'United' or 'States' in their name feel as though I'm misrepresenting them or acting as though I were not aware that they exist.]

I think you might be interested in community gardening. when we think of gardening we usually think of someone's backyard. but it could be a plot of land an community of people decide to use to grow food, often in an urban setting due to the lack of open land and due to the fact that people either have no backyard or their backyard is too small.

Thank you. I actually do grow my own food. And I'm looking into local farmers to get fresh meat.
