Both parties are a threat, but the Republicans represent an overt, obvious threat whereas the Democrats represent a faux-left that dangerously appeases workers struggle issue, simplifies them and co-opts them with the interests of capitalists. They usurp the struggles of our past comrades and hail themselves as champions of the workers all the while being the biggest stooges for Wall Street. Sometimes they disgust me more than the Republicans. At least the Republicans pick a side and stand their ground.

Obama explicitly said in an interview with FAUX News that he implicitly ignored the "left" in order to draft a more centrist bill that would favor he right.

Remember that the Dems are in power and have undermined efforts by the progressive left to make their mark in this administration. Rahm Emanuel is the biggest threat to anything even remotely left as defined in this country. He is a fiery anti-leftist Democrat.
