Why is sf so much bigger than Revleft? I have theories:

1. They have had greater media coverage.

2. They've been around longer.

3. They're closer to the political mainstream. Racism is still firmly entrenched in some parts of society

4.They are being monitored by almost every government. We, on the other hand, are off the radar for all but possibly the U.S. and U.K.

5. The left has not taken advantage of the possibilities of the internet as thoroughly as the right. Most leftists have never heard of Revleft, whereas Stormfront is common knowledge among the fash. We need to advertise.

6. They're manipulating data.

I think more importantly (and following the first part of your post) most socialists and anarchists are engaging in the real world. There are at least a few hundred active and organized socialists in San Francisco and Oakland (many more sympathizers and reformists too), but only a handful are represented on this site. This tells me all the other socialists and radicals already have their social networks and so on.

I think this site is fun and interesting and I have been able to talk to people from other countries in other struggles or from other organizations or political traditions - this is valuable to me, but I would drop it in a second if I had to in order to devote more time to organizing my workplace or whatnot.

Fascists on the other hand can pretty much only openly organize on the internet. So I think that's why their site has so many more people - what else do they have going for them? Not that they should be laughed off - their movement was in decline until they were able to organize and spread their propaganda online in the 90s - there are other political factors involved, but I don't think they would have been able to take advantage of political openings for the far-right if they had to rely on traditional face-to-face methods.

Why don't we actually compare the actual intellectual content of both sites instead. Even with the excess of idiots on this site we still have a massive number of more intellectual individuals. Stormfront is like a racist collection of 4chan users in my opinion.

They're outcasts of outcasts. The far-right is all about structure and organization, like the cells of a human body. The way the far-right mind works is that, if cancerous cells are found in the body, then they must be eradicated.

Thus, they go on Stormfront to make themselves feel as if they're doing a service for their ideology by posting there. See what I'm getting at?

there may be more fascists in the world but the thing about the right is there is no soladarty at all. the only thing that they have in common on stormfront is racist hate there is no one political ideology. i spent a little time messing with their heads on there one day. there was a aisse group i was saprised to see irish, basque, italian and serbs they spent most of the time arguing what was and wasn't wight it all reminded me of those two italian fascists at the Cronulla riots shouting Fuck off Lebs only to get the shit kicked out of them by white supremacists :blink:

ive noticed most of the right-wing websites seem to be of higher standard than the left form the largest to the smallest from the mainstream to extreme even the major political parties. makes me wonder where all the money comes from?

but then again the capitalist would be better at selling themselves :laugh:

For the "mordibly obese" to have anything to do with the far right is indeed nonsensical given that much of fat-hate is a direct corollary of militarism.

In the same sense, any leftist who goes along with the current capitalist agenda to divide the proletariat against itself through body type divisions is in violation of the goal to emancipate all humanity, as far as I'm concerned.

Another problem with Stormfront and the Far-Right when it comes to solidarity is that many of it's users are nationalists, and with any luck, they'll all kill each other in their nationalistic wars.
