I lived in Cairo,Egypt for the first ten years of my life and I have lived in Chicago, Illinois, USA for the last ten. I am going to university at Depaul, where I am a history major. My experiences living in the Middle East radicalized me from a young age, and by high school I decided I was a Marxist. I am in no party or 'camp' and am politically independent. My favorite Marxist/socialist leaders and thinkers include Karl Marx, Frederich Engels, Mikhail Bakunin, Lucy Parsons, Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky, Eugene Debs, Big Bill Haywood, Rosa Luxemburg, Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro, Josip Broz Tito, Che Guevara, the young Mao Tse-Sung, Meena Kamal, Leila Khaled, The Black Panthers, Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales. I'm a mixed bag. lol.
