Hi everyone on RevLeft!
I am an expatriate student living in Asia. I was brought up in a progressive liberal household, and so have been a socialist in some shape or form for as long as I can remember. It was only recently that I realized that the current system of power and governance in the world is a flawed system, so I began some research on the internet looking for alternative solutions to the current system. Eventually I gravitated towards anarchism, but I am still open to other far left ideologies.
I found RevLeft one day when searching for slogans for anarchist posters (it was the communist/anarchist slogans thread in the Practice & Propaganda sub-forum). Since then I have learned a lot more about anarchism and other ideas on this forum, and this information I have used in arguments with my friends and family (luckily for me my family is very open to new ideas).
Thanks for all the help so far!
