I would like to make a pamphlet that I can carry a few around with me and hand out whenever I'm talking to someone or a group who doesn't know what anarchism truly is. It needs to be simple, easy-to-understand, informative, and most importantly able to keep one's attention.

Ideas??
Or is there another one already made that I could just make copies of?

Try these

http://www.afed.org.uk/publications/pamphlets-booklets/86-anarchism-as-we-see-it.html

http://www.afed.org.uk/publications/pamphlets-booklets/34-manifesto-of-libertarian-communism-george-fontenis-1953.html

There are also loads of similar pamphlets on the internet.

(why is this in both learning and practice & propaganda?)

Personally I believe that unless you're in a proper political debate and it's random people then to start your pamphlets should be more along the lines of 'the systems fucked' or 'the world should be more equal/fairer/more free' to kind of get them more sympathetic to your ideas, then move onto more politicly open publications as you have to remember that most people are taught anarchism = chaos, communism = tyranny, etc. - imagine getting a pamphlet saying 'Naziism is'. To most people they represent the same thing so it's best to get them think along the same lines as you as oterwise you might just push them away.
Another point, if you can, in discussions an in your pamphlets, etc. try to get the other person to believe that they came up with the idea (in this case Anarchism) by gently pushing them into that direction then when they say 'you know what I've had an idea …' you can say ' that's really good, such and such has the se idea as you, why don't you read some of their stuff and see if you agree with them'. The best leader makes the people believe they came up with everything when really they had just been pushed in that direction.
