Hello comrades, I am from the corporate-capitalist-American Empire. My hometown is small, not enough people around here question authority and do not generally read anything remotely philosophical. I feel like the only leftist around as no one knows what socialism and communism really are. People are still brainwashed by the Cold War around here. Recently, I've been debating whether or not to go about starting up a leftist group in my high school, but there are so many right-wingers in my high school, I doubt anyone would show up.

I suppose my tendency is Marxist-Leninist.

I've really been on the left for most of my life, but have only recently discovered the ideology behind it. I became a committed leftist after I read The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels, and I'm trying like hell to read the Marx-Engels Reader and some of Lenin's Collected Works. i'm hoping to get more of Marx's and Lenin's works when I get some more income. I know it is on the internet, but I'm not much for reading my computer screen all day.
I'll be around mostly reading threads, i'll post occassionaly when I think it adds to the discussion.
See you all around....oh and power to the working class!
