Oh dear, This one was a 'left communist'. Actually I don't think that he actually was really one anyway. Left communists are the members and sympathiseres of left communist political organisations, not somebody who decides he is one week, then decides he is a Maoist the next.

ordinary forumgoers call them the wumao or wao, "fifty-cent party" or "fifty-cent army" for the supposed rate of remuneration for each post

They are people who are influenced by left communist ideas, but surely being a communist is not just a question of ideas, but also one of militant commitment.
