Up here in Canada, the Harper conservatives are proposing to change the countrys national anthem. Theres a verse in there that goes like "god keep our land glorious and free" right. They dont even mention it as a possibility for change, there all concerned about the verse that goes "in all thy sons command." I understand the reasons for wanting to change that verse, I love equal rights. Its just the fact that they dont even mention changing the other verse, and the msm that has access to question Harpper dont ever ask about it. god doesnt keep canada glorious and free, religion is used to keep the massess in conformity and ignorance.

I find it hilarious how some people are up in arms about the gov't wanting to change their "sacred anthem."

It had already changed in the past, so why is it such a big deal now?

I also find it interesting how our anthem has that god line in it, but our gov't and society in general seems more secular than the Americans.
